David Domingo

35 years on the operator’s side of the table.

My perspective does not come from observing bicycle retail from the outside. It comes from building stores, carrying inventory, negotiating with brands, leading teams and being accountable for the P&L.

Built inside bicycle retail

For more than three decades I led Tomás Domingo–Bike House, growing the business from approximately €0.5 million to €5 million in annual revenue. I developed three stores, led teams of up to 35 people for more than 20 years and repeatedly ranked among Spain’s top-ten dealers for the industry’s leading bicycle brands.

My experience includes procurement and brand negotiations, inventory planning, ERP implementation, team development and close to one thousand candidate interviews. I recruited and trained around 100 professionals, many of whom now hold relevant positions in the industry, and spent seven years as national distributor for North American and Canadian brands.

I combine that operating background with a BBA from the University of Girona and an Executive MBA from EADA.
